Problem Child sent to the army to straighten up However, that does not need to be the defining aspect of your character. This is set in stone by the game that you had that background. Figure out what type of person your character was BEFORE they went to the Army. Obviously only of use for folks who haven't played before. Delete the character and start over with said new knowledge.

A lot of people are saying that the voiced protagonist and various options in the game as well as a chunk of your backstory being set in stone is drastically hampering the ability to RP or 'get in character'.
